A Glasgow-based company was awarded the Governor’s Safety and Health Award for its nearly two-year track record of workplace safety.
Wednesday, March 26, Span Tech announced it had received the “prestigious” recognition for logging 277,118 man-hours worked without lost time from June 24, 2023, through Jan. 3, 2025.
“We are honored to receive the Governor’s Safety & Health Award,” said Steve Fahrenholz, Training and Safety Coordinator at Span Tech. “At Span Tech, safety is not just a priority; it’s a shared value that guides every decision we make. Achieving this award reflects how important safety is to our employees and our company. Together, we’ve proven that creating a safe environment is both essential and achievable.”
Span Tech has its headquarters on Hilltopper Way in Glasgow.
