The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reports that four state roads are “impassable due to flooding” in Barren County.
“Crews from each county in the District 3 area on responding as fast as they can to barricade roads that have become flooded,” the cabinet states. “However, conditions change fast so motorists should use caution. Never attempt to move or drive around barrels or barricades.”
Stovall Road (Ky. 685), Oil Well Road (Ky. 3179), Bewleytown Road (Ky. 921) and Coral Hill Road (Ky. 740) are closed, according to the cabinet’s press release.
