The Far Off Broadway Players will present “Opal’s Million Dollar Duck” this weekend, Aug. 1-3, at the Cave Area Conference Center.
The production will run at 7 p.m. on Friday, at 2 pm. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and at 3 p.m. on Sunday. All shows except Saturday afternoon will have dinner beginning an hour and a half before showtime.
The show is “a comedy, so you’re definitely going to laugh,” said Renee Schuler, who is in this production. “That’s become a staple for our dinner shows.”
“Opal is a lovable pack rat who has an eye for business,” Schuler said. “So all of her treasures have a price.”
“You get to meet so many different people that never would have crossed paths otherwise, and it’s so fun and you make the closest friends…you just wanna keep doing it,” said Schuler, who has been performing with the Far Off Broadway Players for about eight years.
Random Harrison, another performer in the show, said preparing for this production has been “so much fun” and he loves being able to do theater.
