Glasgow police arrested a man at a house on Bunche Avenue after he allegedly burgled and assaulted a person on Short Street.
Huchin Guillermo Ulises, 31, of Glasgow, was arrested and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on Sunday after the police department was called to an assault complaint on Short Street. A resident at the Short Street house told police Guillermo Ulises had entered his residence and assaulted him, then left, according to a Glasgow Police Department press release.
Guillermo Ulises was found at his residence off Bunche Avenue and taken into custody the release stated. He was charged with fourth-degree assault and second degree burglary, and taken to the detention center. He was released from jail Sunday afternoon.
He is scheduled for a Sept. 15 court appearance at 8:30 a.m.
Glasgow police officer Mathew Rishkofski made the arrest.
