Three area students received a scholarship from T.J. Regional Health.
Glasgow High School senior Diya Nair, Gracie Reed, a senior at Barren County High School, and Monroe County High School senior Noah Holbrook each received a $2,000 scholarship to pursue a healthcare-related field, according to a T.J. Regional Health press release.
“We were incredibly impressed by the quality of the applicants again this year,” said Stacey Biggs, EVP of Marketing, Planning and Development. “Choosing just three recipients from more than 50 outstanding individuals was no easy task, but these students exemplify excellence, commitment, and promise. We are proud to support them as they continue their educational journeys.”
Nair will be attending the University of Louisville this fall to study Biology with hopes of pursuing a career in medicine. Reed will be attending the University of the Cumberlands. She plans to study Biology and then go on to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Holbrook will be attending either Lindsey Wilson University or the University of Pikeville this fall as a Pre-Med Student.
