A Glasgow man charged with murder and first-degree fetal homicide has been indicted by a Barren County grand jury.
Brandon Lee Bond is charged in the shooting death of Ava Woodcock and her unborn child. She was shot off Cleveland Avenue on April 6, and died April 7 at the University of Louisville Hospital. Bond, 25, of Glasgow, allegedly shot Woodcock as she was in a car along Cleveland Avenue.
He was indicted by the grand jury last week on all three counts against him, which include domestic violence murder, fetal homicide and fleeing or evading police. The first two counts are Class A felonies, and the fleeing count is a Class C felony.
Bond remains in the Barren County Detention Center on a $2 million cash bond.
An indictment is a formal charge issued by a grand jury. All individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
