STAFF REPORT
Glasgow News 1
Applications are now open for the 2026 Glasgow Christmas Parade, and organizers say space is limited to the first 150 paid entries.
This year’s parade theme is “Stars, Stripes and Silent Nights,” which organizers say is designed to blend patriotic pride with traditional Christmas cheer as part of the broader America 250 observances.
The 1-623rd Field Artillery Regiment has been selected Grand Marshal for the parade, and the parade is expected to highlight the unit’s service while celebrating freedom, family and community.
Those interested in entering the parade can pick up an application at the Barren Inc. office or download one through the organization’s website.
Completed applications should be submitted to Barren Inc. at 126 East Public Square, Suite 101, in Glasgow, Kentucky.
Organizers emphasize that participation is capped, and only the first 150 applications with payment will be accepted into the parade lineup.
Barren Inc. officials also note that an application is not finalized, and a spot is not reserved, until payment has been received and processed.
