The Glasgow Independent Schools Board of Education will hear updates on state testing results and school report cards at its Monday, Oct. 19, meeting at Highland Elementary, according to the meeting agenda. The presentations will cover spring 2026 assessments and school-level results for the 2025-26 school year. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
Instructional Supervisor Tara Martin and Superintendent Chad Muhlenkamp are scheduled to present the Kentucky Summative Assessment results and school report card. District principals Yvonne Wilkinson, Matt Shepherd, Phillip West, Amy Page and Joey Norman will discuss their schools’ assessment data.
The supplied agenda does not include scores or report card findings. Those results are scheduled for presentation rather than detailed in the meeting materials provided.
The board will also consider placing $27,970 in education technology assistance in escrow. The proposal concerns the School Facilities Construction Commission’s first offer of assistance for fiscal year 2027.
Student services proposals include a legal services agreement for social media litigation and a YMCA swim agreement. The agenda also requests permission to apply for two Delta Kappa Gamma grants for Highland Elementary and a Tennessee Valley Authority grant for Glasgow Middle School.
Another proposed action would accept a $500 donation to the Glasgow Middle School football team. These items are scheduled for consideration; the agenda does not establish that the board has approved them.
Other business includes the September financial report, the Kentucky Education Technology System’s 2026 Technology Activity Report and proposed student trips. Public comment and employee recognition are also listed.
