Two people were transported from the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of South Green Street and Sunset Avenue on Friday morning.
A 2013 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Barbara Ortiz-Valle, 28, of Glasgow, turned from Sunset Avenue onto South Green Street and into the path of a 2018 Toyota Camry driven by Desarae Hatcher, 24, of Glasgow, according to a press release from the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.
Hatcher and a passenger in her vehicle were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision. The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by Glasgow Fire Department and Barren-Metcalfe EMS personnel.
