Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance under the gazebo beside the Barren County Courthouse to take pictures, hand out candy canes, and distribute special ornaments, which were given to the first 150 families. After the choral performances by Glasgow and Barren County students, Barren County Judge-Executive Jamie Bewley Byrd and Glasgow Mayor Henry Royse counted down the official lighting up of the Glasgow Downtown Square.
