The Farmers RECC Board of Directors would like to announce that Mr. Chuck Bishop, has been selected to become the next President and CEO of Farmers RECC. He will succeed Mr. Tobias (Toby) Moss, who is retiring after serving as President and CEO since 2023. Bishop has been employed with Farmers RECC since 1994. He began as an Engineering Aide, before becoming an Associate Engineer, then an Engineering Supervisor until filling his current role as Vice President of Engineering in 2010. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of our electric system design, staking, engineering models and maps. He has also been responsible for developing the Farmers RECC’s system plan and protective schemes. He also provided in-depth support to other departments. In total, Bishop brings more than 30
years of hands-on experience with the Farmers RECC electric system to the CEO role. Bishop is also a trusted voice in the electric cooperative Engineering group at a statewide level, advocating for Farmers RECC and all electric cooperative members. Bishop is a life-long Glasgow and Barren County resident, graduating from Glasgow High School. Bishop holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. When not working, Bishop, an avid supporter of youth sports, enjoys coaching a variety of youth sports, most recently, volleyball. He also enjoys spending time with his family and three children, Cade, Laney and Caroline. Bishop will begin in his official CEO position and duties on Friday, July 17, 2026.
