The Johnson Farm Ad Hoc Committee agreed Tuesday to move the deadline for request-for-proposals submissions from Sept. 28 to Oct. 30. The committee met Sept. 22 at the Luska J. Twyman Municipal Building in Glasgow.
Qk4 Vice President and site manager Rob Campbell said additional time could help potential developers prepare responses and allow further conversations about concerns and feedback. During the discussion, Campbell said no submission was expected to be ready the following week based on feedback received so far.
Campbell said he had recently spoken with nine individuals who received the RFP. Some were considering the request and planned to submit proposals, while responses from others remained pending.
The committee agreed to record the extension in its meeting minutes and notify everyone holding the request. Members said the committee would evaluate any proposals received before deciding how to proceed.
The committee also discussed its next meeting. Members settled on Oct. 20 at 3 p.m.
