STAFF REPORT
Glasgow News 1
Glasgow’s free fall leaf collection service begins Monday, Nov. 2, with city work crews collecting leaves residents have raked to the curb, according to the city. Collection is scheduled to finish by Dec. 25, although the holiday could extend service into the last week of December.
The city describes the program as a vacuum leaf collection service. It is available at no charge to Glasgow residents, with crews collecting curbside leaves during the fall collection period.
Pickup will follow a four-zone schedule rather than a single collection date for all streets. Each zone has been assigned two weeks of leaf pickup, according to the city’s announcement.
For residents, the relevant schedule is the one assigned to their street. See the graphic above to determine when crews are scheduled to collect leaves in their area.
